You've worked hard to become exceptionally good at what you do.
And there are things you still want to discover, create, build, and change.
But the more accomplished you become, the more complex the work and life surrounding your ambitions can become.
There are people counting on you. Decisions with real consequences. Opportunities worth pursuing. Competing demands on your time, energy, and attention.
And somewhere in all of that, there's you.
Your curiosity. Your brilliance. Your relationships. Your ambitions. Your ideas about what makes a life worth living.
What if you could give all of those things the attention they deserve?
I'm Tarah Keech. I work privately with accomplished scientists, innovators, leaders, and other ambitious people who want to make extraordinary contributions without losing sight of the lives they're creating.
Together, we get clear on what you want, navigate what stands between you and your ambitions, and make meaningful things happen.

You're already doing important things. What else do you want?
Maybe you're leading work you deeply believe in, but spending more of your days managing complexity than doing the work that lights you up.
Maybe you're advancing an ambitious mission while navigating competing priorities, institutional politics, complicated relationships, or expectations that don't always align with your own.
Maybe you've reached a level of success that once seemed extraordinary, only to discover that you want something different now.
Or maybe there's an idea, opportunity, or direction you can't stop thinking about, and you're ready to find out what's possible.
You don't necessarily need to change everything.
You might need to reconsider a few things.
What do you actually want?
Which ambitions are still yours?
What deserves your energy, attention, and influence?
What are you ready to do differently?
And what would it look like to pursue your ambitions in a way that makes your life richer, not smaller?
You can be deeply ambitious and deeply committed to enjoying your life.
You can care enormously about your work without making it your entire identity.
You can be brilliant, capable, accomplished, and still benefit from having someone alongside you as you figure out what comes next.
Know what you want. Trust what you know. Create what matters.
A place where all of you belongs.
You're probably accustomed to being the person others rely on for expertise, decisions, leadership, and direction.
You may have colleagues who understand your work, friends who know your heart, and people who love you deeply.
But there aren't always many places where you can bring all of it together.
The professional challenges and personal questions. The ambition and uncertainty. The confidence and self-doubt. The joy, disappointment, frustration, excitement, and possibility.
That's what our coaching relationship makes room for.
We'll look at what's happening, what you're thinking and feeling, what you genuinely want, and what you're choosing to do about it.
Sometimes I'll ask questions you haven't considered. Sometimes we'll challenge an assumption you've held for years. Sometimes we'll work through a conversation, decision, or situation that's unfolding right now.
We'll pay attention to your emotions, not as problems to eliminate, but as information worth understanding.
We'll distinguish what you know from what you're assuming.
We'll explore what's within your influence, what isn't, and where you want to direct your energy.
And we'll translate what you're discovering into choices and actions that belong to you.
You don't need someone to tell you how to live your life. You deserve support in creating it intentionally.

Private coaching, built around your life and ambitions.
A year of meaningful work together.
This is a private, 12-month coaching relationship for people who want to give sustained attention to what matters most.
We aren't following a prescribed curriculum or trying to fit your life into someone else's formula.
Our work evolves with you.
You might begin with a particular challenge or ambition, only to discover new possibilities as you move forward.
That's part of the value of having an ongoing coaching relationship. We can work with what's happening now while staying connected to the bigger picture of what you want to create.
-
Conversations throughout the year to work through decisions, opportunities, relationships, ambitions, and the practical realities of bringing your intentions to life.
-
Dedicated time to go deep on something important. We might clarify a vision, explore a significant decision, design a strategy, or develop an intentional plan for a meaningful goal.
-
A shared coaching document and access through email and/or text so you can bring questions, discoveries, and challenges into our work as they arise.
-
We'll revisit what matters, recognize your progress, and continue refining what you want and how you want to pursue it.
This is coaching for your actual life, not an idealized version where everything goes according to plan.
Our year together includes:
Who I work with
My clients are people who care deeply about the quality and significance of their contributions.
They're scientists making discoveries and advancing fields of research. Academic leaders shaping institutions and developing future generations. Founders and executives building organizations they believe in. Innovators, artists, and thought leaders bringing important ideas into the world.
They're curious, thoughtful, capable, and ambitious.
They have their own minds and aren't looking for someone to tell them what to think.
They're willing to question themselves, consider new perspectives, and make meaningful changes when they discover something worth pursuing.
Some come to coaching with a clearly defined goal.
Others arrive at a turning point, with important decisions to make or a growing sense that something about the way they're living or working is ready to evolve.
What they share is a desire to be intentional about how they use their gifts, pursue their ambitions, and experience their lives.

Hi, I’m Tarah.
I'm an executive and life coach with a master's degree in clinical psychology and a background in management consulting.
I've spent years working alongside highly accomplished people navigating the realities of leadership, complex organizations, consequential decisions, and ambitious work.
My clients include scientists, researchers, academic leaders, executives, and other people who are deeply invested in making a difference.
I created Coach Well, Lead Well, a leadership development and coaching certification program that helps leaders develop their capacity to coach, rather than rescue, and build capability in the people they lead.
But my favorite work has always been the deeply personal work of coaching.
I love getting curious with people about what they want, what they believe, what they're feeling, and what's possible.
I love watching someone recognize an assumption that's been shaping their decisions, give themselves permission to want something more, or discover a way forward they hadn't previously considered.
And I love the moment those insights become action.
I don't believe meaningful success requires sacrificing your humanity.
I believe the more fully we become ourselves, the more fully we can contribute.
And I want you to enjoy the becoming as much as the accomplishing.
Let’s talk about what you want to create.
Maybe you have a consequential decision in front of you.
Maybe there's something you've wanted to pursue for a long time.
Maybe you're ready to experience your work, your relationships, your ambitions, or your life differently.
Whatever has you curious about coaching, I'd love to hear about it.
We'll talk about what matters to you, what you're working toward, and what kind of support would make a meaningful difference.
I'll share how I work, answer your questions, and we'll explore whether spending a year working together makes sense.
You don't need a polished plan or a perfectly articulated goal.
Just a willingness to explore what you really want.
